As a photographer, I’ve had the privilege of capturing countless moments of love, but some proposals are simply unforgettable. One that stands out to me is the breathtaking proposal I had the honor of photographing for Kaetyn and Nicole in San Francisco. It was a true labor of love, carefully planned over months of anticipation, and every detail was crafted with thoughtfulness and heart.

Kaetyn reached out to me months ago, knowing he wanted to make this moment absolutely perfect for Nicole. As she entered the bar, a second note awaited, guiding her to their favorite bookstore where she was instructed to pick up a book about their favorite city. Inside that book? Tickets to San Francisco—where the rest of their love story would unfold.

Nicole, surprised and excited, flew to the city with her best friend, who was waiting at the hotel to greet her. From there, a driver picked her up and took her on a scenic drive, finally arriving at a marina with a breathtaking view of the Golden Gate Bridge. It was here that the magic really began to unfold.

As soon as Nicole stepped out of the car, her eyes widened. There was Kaetyn, waiting for her at the end of the jetty with the Golden Gate Bridge behind him, bathed in the soft light of the setting sun. It was like something out of a dream.
